Transjakarta Modifies Several Routes for Independence Day Celebration

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is modifying several routes on Monday (8/17) as traffic diversions are implemented to support events marking Indonesia's 81st Independence Day across Jakarta.

We are adjusting our services to ensure Transjakarta continues to operate amid the traffic diversions

Despite the modifications, Transjakarta ensures its services remain operational so people can continue using public transportation throughout the celebrations.

Rano Karno: Transjakarta Emerging as the Backbone of Jakarta’s Transportation

Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department Head Ayu Wardhani said the adjustments include route diversions, changes to bus stops, and adjusted operating hours on several services.

"We are adjusting our services to ensure Transjakarta continues to operate amid the traffic diversions. These adjustments are situational and take into account conditions on the ground as well as customer safety and comfort," she noted.

Ayu urged people traveling today to check the latest information on service modifications and adjust their travel plans accordingly.

"We encourage customers to plan their trips carefully and always check for updates before departing," she stressed.

Transjakarta has also stationed personnel at several service points to assist customers during the service adjustments. The changes will be reviewed regularly based on traffic conditions and developments on the ground.
